A mockup of the publication was developed in order to ensure that all pages are correct, and the general production is of an high standard. As the publication is not digital CMYK was also considered.
As I attempted to paginate the design myself (as I did not realise that InDesign already did this) the publication appeared to randomise the spreads with some of the designers names appear on incorrect pages etc. As a result of this I altered the spreads into their intended layout.
The images themselves did not appear that high of a resolution, with some designs appearing pixelated. As a result of the the dpi was altered, in turn allowing the final publication to promote much higher quality images.
Another mistake was that one of the designers names was missed out. This therefore needing to be corrected as the designer needs to be correctly noted in order to gain attention.
In terms of production the paper weight was thin, as a result images could be seen through the paper and thus a higher gsm was needed. This being especially prominent with the front cover.
