The above designs explore ways in which guns can be displayed in order to target young adults. The basic structure of guns is very minimal, a factor I feel to be important in not over complicating the design. Negative space has been widely used, a factor in which I feel will interest the consumer further within the design. A negative space approach would also allow my design to maintain an individual aspect compared to that of the other policy posters, in turn creating a deisgn piece that works on its own but that could also work as a set. During the following design stages I will explore with this iconography further.
