Error with mock up

As the double sided printer within university was broken and would not be fixed until later on within my timeplan, it was decided that the publication would be professionally printed. As a result, Mixam, an online printers was selected.

After receiving the printed publication it initially came to my attention that the pages had been paginated incorrectly, resulting in some spreads being upside down. After double checking that this was not my fault the printers was contacted with arrangements being made for re-printing. This process was quick and easy, emphasising the professionality of the company.

Although some of the spreads were incorrect, the general printing quality was fantastic. The image quality was clear and the type legible.

In terms of stock, two papers were used. Matt was the finish of choice as women's magazine often contain glossy covers.
