In order to gather a greater insight into that of pro choice posters I began to explore pro choice activation sights, with some of the below posters being involved within real life protests.
The sad reality behind this design is the component in which captures the consumers attention rather than the design itself. It expresses the main problem with limiting women's rights to abortion as well as other useful information in order to connect with the cause further. The most impactful piece of design within this piece is the centralisation of the coat hanger as the concept behind it is exceptionally strong. I may explore with the coat hanger idea within my own designs, as this posters concept has really stood out to me.
A comical approach to activism. This design highlights the fact that one of Americas's most famous landmarks is based on a female, who in turn should have a right to the decisions in which involve her body. Although I am not a fan of the colours used, I feel that the concept behind this poster makes it so impactful.
Facts and figures are important factors within political campaigns as they express a reality behind the design. It also embeds the idea further within the consumers mind when the facts are that insightful as above. Aesthetically my favourite component within this design is the highlighted approach to the text as it makes it more impactful. It also guides the consumers eyes to this point in the page first.
Intertexuality is also a factor in which is effective as it positions the consumer to relate back to the original product, this also creates trust.
