Abotion crit 1

When asking my peers about the initial concept for Hillarys pro-choice poster it was suggested that the typeface used was very boring, and didn't appeal to that of a younger demographic. Although it was suggested that a sans serif should be used in order to express impact and legibility.

Other concerns expressed were that the white background caused the design to appear very clinical, with the centralising of text and image also conveying to NHS poster stereotypes. Due to this I feel that my strongest option would be either explore composition or to alter the colour palette.

Although the aesthetic gathered somewhat negative feedback the concept behind the coat hanger was widely inforced with individuals suggesting that the concept was informed, impactful and relatable to that of a younger demographic.
